You feel far from God and cannot explain why
Life is going well. Prayer is dry. You have wondered if something is wrong with your faith. Usually something else got fed first.

You do not need more religious activity. You need faith back in the rooms it has been kept out of.
Most Christian life coaching is encouragement with a verse on it. This is not that. I am a Covenant Theological Seminary graduate and a licensed counselor with ten years of clinical practice, and I work with successful Christians whose faith, marriage, work, and sense of purpose have quietly drifted into separate compartments. The goal is one integrated life, and the work is finding what is actually forming you.

Does this sound like you?
Life is going well. Prayer is dry. You have wondered if something is wrong with your faith. Usually something else got fed first.
Calendars, kids, church on Sunday. Very little wrong and very little joy. You have not laughed together in a while.
You are patient and present for clients. Your family and your prayer life get whatever is left at 8 p.m.
Anger, avoidance, control, overwork. You have confessed it. It came back. Confession was not the missing piece.
You believe in Sabbath and have not taken one in years. Producing is where you feel safe.
And you are not sure what it is, or whether your calendar and giving would show it if you named it.
What this coaching is
Formation is what actually shapes your reactions, your money, your marriage, and your use of power when nobody is watching.
The issue is rarely knowledge. Most of the men and women I work with could teach the class. The issue is that professional formation accelerated for twenty years while spiritual formation did not, and the old files written in childhood, keep the peace, stay in control, keep producing, are running both your leadership and your faith.
So the work integrates Scripture, prayer, and vocation with the psychological work of finding those files. When your complaints are on a whiteboard and the loop appears, from an old fear to a work habit to a quiet marriage to a dry prayer life, most people see for the first time that it is one system. That is where real change, and real formation, begin.
A story I see often
A couple in ministry had lost the ability to laugh together. Neither of them had noticed when.
Details changed. He led. She carried the family. Evenings were two people on two screens. When we mapped where his attention actually went in a week, almost none of it landed on the person he said he had been serving God alongside. He had a theology of marriage he would defend in a sermon and a practice that would have embarrassed him.
The work was not a date-night plan. It was the pattern that made ministry feel safer than home, and small experiments: phones in a drawer, a silly game from when they were dating, one honest conversation about what each of them missed. He said the first time she laughed at something he said, he understood what he had been trading away.
How an engagement starts
You tell me what is actually going on. I tell you honestly whether it is the kind of problem I help with, and whether coaching or clinical care is the right door. No pitch, and no pressure to decide on the call.
One defined problem is Focused Coaching. A problem that crosses work and home is Integrated Coaching. If you want a full working model of how you operate, that is Private Advisory. I will tell you which one fits, including when the answer is the cheaper one.
Integrated and Private Advisory engagements start with assessment and a written synthesis: strengths, blind spots, the patterns connecting your complaints, and the two or three leverage points that will change the most. See a sample Whole-Person Profile
Meetings roughly every other week. Between them you run specific experiments: a conversation you have been avoiding, a decision, a boundary, a different response under pressure. The map gets corrected by what actually happens.

Questions
Seminary training plus a clinical license plus a decade of practice. Most Christian coaching offers encouragement and accountability. This offers a structured assessment of what is actually forming you, psychologically and spiritually, and specific work on the patterns underneath.
No. It is coaching, provided under a coaching agreement, organized around formation, patterns, and practice. If what you describe needs clinical care, I will say so; I am a licensed counselor and my clinical practice is separate from this site.
No. This pathway is for professionals and high achievers of any title: physicians, attorneys, business owners, pastors, athletes, and others carrying responsibility. The pattern matters more than the job.
The spiritual formation assessment takes a few minutes and stays in your browser. Or book the call.
